I regret that we have to cancel the canoe trip due to a lack of participation. We have confirmed our reservations for the campout at Wampatuck State Park in Hingham for Sunday/Monday August 30/31. A Permission Slip is attached (here). The fee is $24 per person. Please let me know ASAP if you are going to the campout and which requirements you would like to complete. This is a great opportunity to work on your rank advancement before the next Court of Honor. Steve Woogmaster

Special Note: All Scouts are expected to arrive at Troop meetings ON TIME. Many parents have complained about the late hour at which our meetings have been ending. If Scouts arrive punctually, we should have no trouble finishing up our meetings according to schedule.
Special Note #2: All younger Scouts should come prepared to review or complete ONE ADVANCEMENT TASK at each Troop meeting. As reported in previous emails, you can find videos to help you prepare advancement tasks at http://www.scouting.org/:
- Click on "Boy Scouts" on the left of the screen (bottom right of the red box)
- Click on "Awards"
- Click on "Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class Rank Requirements"
Be Prompt.
Remember a Scout is COURTEOUS and OBEDIENT.
Uniforms are required for Troop Meetings.
Remember a Scout is LOYAL, OBEDIENT, and CLEAN.
Scouts not in proper* uniform will be dismissed from the meeting!
Character guides you, when no one is looking!
* Proper uniform consists of neat, tucked-in Class A shirt, beltand head cover (Scout hat and/or keepah).
