We believe in Deity of the Messiah as proclaimed in the scriptures found in Isaiah 7:14 Micah 5:2. John 1: John 10:19-33.
We believe in the miraculous birth of the Messiah by the virgin Miriam, Isaiah 7:14, Mt 1:18-25.
We believe it's God's desire to redeem all mankind, 2 pet 3:9. His means of
atonement for the world is through the suffering, death and resurrection of
Messiah Yeshua, Is 53 Lev 17:11 John 14:1-6. We receive this salvation by faith
in Yeshua and God's grace, Eph 2:8, Romans 3:23 6:23 and 10:9-10.
We believe that the body of Messiah Yeshua is represented by Jews and Gentiles
who live for him according to a Biblical standard. There is no division between
Jew and Gentile in the life of the congregation, Eph 2:11-14, Romans 10: 11:.
We believe that God is in covenant relationship with Israel. They are His people
created by Him to bring Messiah to the world, Gen 22:18. God will be faithful to
fulfill His promises with Israel. He has promised them the land of Israel. He
will not fail to keep His promise, Jer 31:31-37. The church does not fulfill or
replace Israel, they come along side of. Rom 11:11-32. The nation of Israel in
their unbelief are like the Prodigal son. They do not stop being a child of the
Father but they are living out of the blessing of the fathers estate as long as
they continue rejecting their Messiah. The Father waits longingly for their
return to receive their full inheritance, Luke 15:11-32.
We believe that Messiah commanded all disciples to participate in mikva
(immersion) as an outward sign of our inward faith, not for salvation. This is
also an identification with our new life in Messiah His death and resurrection,
Acts 2:37-38 Acts 8:34-38.
Every believer should participate in the ceremony of communion according to the
instructions found in 1 Cor. 11:23-34. This is foreshadowed in the holiday of
Passover, Luke 22:14-20, 1Cor 5:6-8. This is done in obedience to Yeshua's
command to "do this in remembrance of me" Luke 11:23-26.
We believe that Yeshua will return again as He promised to remove/rescue the
saints, judge the world and establish His kingdom in heaven and on earth for a
literal thousand years, Rev 20:1-12. After He puts His enemies under His feet He
will hand over the kingdom to the Father for all eternity, 1 Thess 4:13-18,
5:1-6. No man knows the day or hour.
We believe that every member of the body of Messiah should strive to live a life
that is holy and reflects a Biblical standard as stated in Gal 5:16-25. We
acknowledge man's continued struggle in striving against the sin nature Rom
7:4-25. Yet, this does not give excuse to anyone who lives in the consistent
practice of un repented sin, 1 Jo 1:5-10, Eph 5:1-21. Forgiveness of sin by God
does not mean we have been granted permission to sin.
We believe that the Ruach Ha Kodesh (The Holy Spirit) gives spiritual gifts to
believers, though no one particular gift is given to every believer, 1 Cor
chapter 12, 13, 14.
